Overview
StemLab is designed with privacy as a core principle. All audio processing happens locally on your Mac — your music files never leave your computer, and we have no ability to access them.
Data We Don't Collect
StemLab does not collect, transmit, or store any of the following:
- Audio files or music you import into the app
- Personal information or user accounts
- Usage analytics, telemetry, or crash reports
- Device identifiers or tracking data
- Browsing history or app usage patterns
Local Storage
StemLab stores processed stem files and application data locally on your Mac in the application support directory. This data remains entirely on your device and is used only to avoid re-processing songs you've already separated. You can clear this cache at any time from within the app.
Audio Processing
Stem separation is performed entirely on your device. No audio data is sent to any server. The processing requires no internet connection.
Support Contact
If you email us via our support page, we use the information you provide solely to respond to your inquiry. We do not use this information for marketing or share it with third parties.
Third-Party Services
StemLab does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. The app makes no network requests during normal operation.
Children's Privacy
StemLab does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. Since we do not collect any personal information from any users, this applies universally.
Changes to This Policy
If we update this privacy policy, we will post the revised version on this page with an updated effective date. Since StemLab does not collect contact information, we encourage you to review this page periodically.
